My love for photography…
dates back to my childhood when my grandfather gave me my first camera. He encouraged me to document how I saw the world through the lens. I studied Fine Arts in college concentrating on photography and dance and after I moved to Europe to work as a photo assistant and experience the old world. I lived in the south of France and madrid, Spain. after, I moved to the mecca of photography, New York City, to transition from assistant to photographer. I was lucky to work with some of the world’s most renown photographers gaining experience and knowledge from Charles Masters shooting on 4x 5 and 8x10 bellow field cameras to Paolo Roversi, known for light paintingin his fashion editorial stories. I took the leap and spent a Christmas in Cuba to shoot some travel images and landed my first editorial job for Travel & Leisure to cover Malaysia. I have worked for magazines, travel outfitters, catalogs and ad agencies shooting a wide range of travel, portraits, lifestyle, fashion, food, spa and beauty, still products, and my passion movement. I have always seen my job as a photographer as an opportunity to get curious and to looking for the beauty the world has to offer.
